DOS 3.3 Question?

Normally customized DOS's simply move the catalog track from $17 to
somewhere else. For example in the early versions of "Print Shop"
Broderbund moved the catalog track to track $22! To get to see the
files on the disk I used a sector editor to patch the disk so it would
point to track $22 sector $01 instead of it's normal location and
voila! I got the hidden catalog to appear.

Other protection schemes can be complicated like "Airheart". This
program used a modified DOS where it had 18 sector per track. Man
what a headache to undo THAT mess !!
