You can hook up almost any modem to the IIc. I just bought a used 2400
with a cable for a IBM. Following the directions in the Proterm 3.0
manual, I modified the cable to work with the IIc. (My first cable making
project ever :) There is no need for a parallel/serial converter since
the IIc doesn't output anything in parallel and telecomm is all serial.
