As I recall, with the ProTERM demo, it is supposed to save all those 
configurations that you made concerning hardware, etc. I have really not 
tried out the demo as I have the real article and am using it now and may 
I say that this newest version of ProTERM is REALLY worth the money if 
you are purchasing it new.
