not that i know of...  the creator types tend to be pulled out of thin
air, not always registered.  i believe there is a list at ftp.apple.com
which should have the majority of commin ones.

i'm almost sure this does not exist...  it's too easy to change them on a
mac once they get there, and HFS types/creators are not useful under
gs/os.  the FST manages to properly handle some types, like text files
(type TEXT, creator pdos.)  of course, if you're trying to give the file
to a typical mac user, i can see why you'd want to fix it before they see
it.  ("type?  creator?  ResEdit?  what's that?")
