Woz ROM's upgrade on GS.

Hi,

At our university, someone gave me a ROM 00/(Woz edition I guess) IIgs.
(Yep, you read it right... GAVE me...with RGB monitor, 3.5 drive 5.25 drive and
a GS ram card with 256 K soldered on.)

Ok, As you all already guessed, I want to upgrade the GS to al least a ROM 01
version.

I have :
CPU: GTE G 65c816 P-3
ROM: 342-0077-A      (which is a ROM 00/woz edition I guess)
VGC: 344S0046-1 AMI  (which is a faulty one stated so in tech notes)

Q 1: Where can I get a rom upgrade ? (I have been waiting for an answer at the local dealers for 3 weeks now... sighh...)

Q 2: In the Service Notes I have in front off me (Aug 1989) they say the latest
ROM version for a ROM 01 GS is the part nr 342-0077-B. Is that so ?

Q 3: The service notes say:
Defective VGCs are AMI 344S0046-1 and AMI 344S0046-A
Good      VGCs are AMI 344S0046-2 and AMI 344S0046-B

The replacement VGCs are AMI 344S0046-3 or IMP 344S0046 or IMP 344S0056

Altech sells an VGC upgrade for $ 29 xxx 344S0046-C (xxx = i dunno)
Considering the service notes are old, I guess I should order the VGC from
from altech... right ?
