it's also not a problem...  but you _do_ have to change the file type. 
unless you're sure the file in question is a single truetype font, you
need to change the type to FFIL and the creator to DMOV.  this will turn
it into a suitcase file, which you can simply drop on your system folder
in sys 7, or use font/da mover to access.  if you're using system 7, you
can also change a single truetype font to type ffil, creator movr.  this
is a single font file, which became popular with sys 7, much less so with
7.1.
