Basle/Switzerland, 31/5/93 -- Bright Software announces the
availability of Big Text Machine (BTM) in Europe, a text presentation
system that displays any Prodos text file in a large, proportional font
at a user controllable rate of display.
Displayed text is clearly readable twenty feet away from the computer
monitor, allowing Big Text Machine to be used as an electronic message
displayer. When used a an electronic message displayer, Big Text
Machine places no limit on the size of the text file being repeatedly
displayed. This feature offers a sizable advantage over other message
displayers on the market which are restricted to displaying 2 kilobytes
or 4 kilobytes of text.
 
Similar in ways to the Print Shop (tm), Big Text Machine can be used
for serious, practical purposes as well as inspirational, educational
purposes. It was also designed to serve the needs of visually impaired
Apple II users.

The software is shipped on three disks: the BTM Program disk, the BTM
Auto display disk, and the BTM Sample Files disk. The Sample Files disk
contains text files showing how the software can be used for different
purposes. Included are sample creative writings by young children.
 
Four foreign language fonts: Spanish, French, Italian, and German,
further extend the use of Big Text Machine. Hard copy output to Apple
ImageWriters* is supported as well.
