No, no, no. That's where the game gets screwy. This games makes you think
so much instead of just blindy trying to walk through it and shooting
everything you see.

First of all, you slow walk up to the trapped alien until he closes the door.
Then you don't kill him and instead, go upstairs. You don't kill this alien
either, yet.

First, once you're up the stairs, jump over the stairs gap so you're on the
right side of the floor to the right of stairs coming up from below. You
set up some shields and then you blast out the wall of which the alien is
behind, THEN.....do nothing.

Wait for the alien to roll some grenades toward you. Notice now that because
you're on the right side, the grenades just roll down the stairs? There's a
reason for this.

Wait until the alien drops about 4 grenades down the stairs, then shoot him.
Go down the transporter and shoot the alien there and blow out the power
line further down the transporter. Then, as you head back up again and then
down the stairs, notice that the floor there has changed somehow :)

You now can either go back and shoot the alien trapped behind the door
and continue with this new floor or just continue with the new floor.

Yep, this part gave me lots of problems too.

No problemo
