    But that requires *two* SCSI cables!  Why don't I just clamp two
male connectors on the ribbon and hook both drives directly onto the
ribbon cable?  Apparently this works (as I've been told in e-mail).  I
do have a 50-50 SCSI cable, but that would just add the snake's nest
hiding behind my desk.  ;-)
