Re: Wanted: UDC, Floppy Interface Cards

Prices are determined by supply and demand. With increasing numbers of
Apple IIs being sold to a declining number of buyers, prices are dropping
at a quickening rate on most items. But not on the Laser UDC card! This
is an incredibly useful product --- the best item Laser ever made. They
are no longer being produced, and the writer of this message will be
LUCKY to find up to three of them at the bid price of $30.00 each.

I have two UDC cards and would not part with either of them even if
offered more than the $45.00 new price.

P.S. For the information of newcomers to this list, the Laser UDC card
can operate any combination of 5.25" and 3.5" disk drives on a IIe or
IIgs, with up to four dives driven by the one card. Mine operates an Applied
Engineering 800K 3.5" drive from slot #5; it has worked perfectly for the past 18 month
18 months; thanks Laser!
