I didn't press him for too many details (what can I say, I was wired the
whole weekend on maybe 7 hours of sleep total) but I vaguely remember it
had to do with the positioning of the blocks. With the preboot, the blocks
still go in Bank E0, they just start at A000 instead of 6000. If you allocate
a lot of them, you could spill over to another bank a lot quicker, so maybe
that is it. Perhaps Dave could remind me exactly what it was he said...
