     Yes, we are aware of the difficulties in using this mode, but it has
never been supported by any of the system software (since the card was
released in 1988), and we have made no changes to make it so in System 
6.0.1. We consider it a compatibility risk to attempt to make the system
more friendly in regards to this area of memory, and frankly, this is the
position we must take with a lot of changes we would like to make.

     Jay, please remember that Matt works in Developer Technical Support -
he's not an engineer. However, you keep attributing engineering decisions
to him and this is unfair for both us (A2CE) and Matt.
