FTA profits & stuff

Say, if Photonix II is commercial software being sold by big red, where 
does Oliver Goguel & the rest of the FTA get their profits? 

I've got a suggestion about sending S/W fees overseas... I live in the 
United States of America, and here we have such a thing as free 
enterprise/starships/... (J/K). But there may be more businesses willing 
to convert that $20 to francs (sp?) for a smaller rate than 40% (Which is 
extremely unreasonable, IMHO.) in the USA. Sorry but I don't know about 
CSA2ers who are in other countries.
