Jounaling works - fine! But I really can't figure out how that works.
There are two (2) pages in volume 1, and I really have NO idea how I
could write such a beast.
I tried writing a driver some months ago, and as far as I remember the
driver was called ALL THE TIME with a "mouse position" code (readmnouse
or a similar routine). It was nowehere mentioned which codes have to
preserved in order do the job. Recording all calls would cause a memory
overflow within five minutes.
I understand that the Apple II staff has TONS of things to do, things
that are more impooortant than explaining how journaling works in
detail. OTOH, journaling could be a wonderful feature of the toolbox - I
guess many are waiting for it...
