     I don't remember this discussion, but I remember what Dave Lyons
said (and I second it as well). We don't have any bugs logged against
journaling in our database, and we haven't had anyone show us exactly
what they think is so "broken" with the mechanism. As far as Dave and I
are concerned, the notion that journaling is broken is simply a rumor
that will not die.
