There was some discussion about this a few months ago.  Some people
(myself included) have had problems with System 6 and the Rev C SCSI
card.

In my case, I have a slightly faulty Rodime 60 MB drive which works
fine with the High-Speed SCSI card and any version of the system
software, but on the Rev C SCSI card, System 6 doesn't recognise the
drive (System 5.0.4 was OK).

The drive's fault causes a long pause during the boot sequence
(probably SCSI INIT) and I think the Rev C SCSI card is timing out and
thinking the drive has gone offline.
