Desktop Utilities 4.0

To all would-be DTUtils 4.0 beta testers, and people in general who have been
waiting for the past year for the new version to be released.....

We're really sorry to keep you waiting, but DTUtils 4.0 has been far more
ambitious and a much greater challenge than we envisaged when we first came up
with the idea for a modular version last July (or was it June?).  We certainly
haven't forgotten about all those people who expressed interest in testing
DTUtils 4.0 or writing modules for it.  Please be patient, we're sure that when
DTU4 finally eventuates you'll really like what you see.

That having been said, we have some positive news to report.  We now have an
'alpha' version of the DTUtils4.0 kernel (the program which manages all the
modules and provides lots of nifty programming tools to boot).  The NDA, menu
bar manager and clock modules are well on the way to completion, and work on
other modules (Virtual DAs, QuickSwitch and the CDA) has commenced.

We will advise all you keen beta testers out there when we have something
substantial to test.  If you want more information, feel free to E-Mail either
