Funny...the reply appeared before my posting...

One correction: proprietary mechanism doesn't mean incompatibility. I
haven't seen Bernoullis yet but I assume they have SCSI, too.
So I guess they will work fine with Apple's SCSI card. If the RFast
supports it - no idea. Is it really necessary to upgrade the ROM's EACH
and EVERY time a new peripheral is introduced??????
