Problems with the Finder ejecting the Syquest disks (SCSI StopUnit command)
makes the Syquest POWER DOWN!  The only way to recover is to turn off the S
yquest

I understand this is only a problem if you have more then 1 SCSI device on the
bus.  They had to figure out how to identify ejectable media without using
system specific IDs.  I think the 3.0 way was to check the size of the
partition.  I can't remember exactly what it was!
