I bought and own this game. Its pretty awesome...has some of the best Music
Studio tunage ever heard on the GS.
>Sword of Sodan (?) Discovery Software
SoS IIgs had 2 demos, one of which I'll post on c.b.a2 later so you can see
what might have been. Theoretically this game was actually released for sale
briefly and then recalled due to programming errors, so its possible someone
has it.
>Dondra:A New Beginning Microillusions
>Faery Tale Advendure Microillusions
FTA (heh) was released, I'm pretty sure. Don't know about Dondra.
>Spirit of Excalibur Virgin Mastertronic
SoE was never officially released but the finished game was stolen by one of
the bigger pirate groups and released since Virgin was not going to sell it
themselves.
>Space Quest III Sierra On-line
Dunno about SQIII, I'm pretty sure its SCI in which case it died because the
GS was 'too slow' for their bloated APW C ports.
>Quarterstaff Infocom
No idea at all. Anyone?
>Manhunter: San Fransisco Sierra On-line
I believe this goes with SQIII under "GS too slow".
>S.D.I. Cinemaware
>Sinbad & the Throne of the Falcon " "
>King of Chicago Cinemaware
King of Chicago I know was released. I believe SDI was also, but I'm not sure.
>Ancient Land of Y's (?)
I've got this game. Its from the programmers of Test Drive II, but it actually
loads and runs quickly and has some way-out stereo music.
>Marble Madness Electronic Arts
This was released. I have it also.
Let me add a few 'missing' games to the list.
Scooby-Doo Cinemaware
Flintstones "
(some others I'm sure)
And a few games which -should- have been done on the IIgs. Several of these
are sequals to existing IIgs games.
Thexder: Firehawk Sierra
Life and Death II Software Toolworks
Deluxe Music Const. Set Electronic Arts (not a game, but was announced with
the GS :)
MasterTracks Pro+4 Passport Designs
Some CAD program ????? (anyone remember? I don't have most of my old
A+es, but the November '86 issue with the GS on the
cover was a goldmine of phantom software)
