Friends, this is not a question, but a statement of fact. Using a standard 1Mhz
Enhanced //e with only a parallel port and game port, I created an _OUTPUT OLN
Y_ data transfere system to move info from an Apple to IBM at speeds up to 9500
Bits Per Second!! I also did it with only TWO wires. If you would like more in
fo on this technique please E-mail me and I will send what I can. I must warn y
ou, the machines must be within walking distance (less then aprox 200 feet) ; t
he receiving computer must have a game port, and the sending computer must have
the game socket (not joystick connection) empty.
To those who regret being scoffed at owners of ibm's I leave this note: The App
leas said transmitts at a max of 9400 baud. The ibm I was using to receive (int
el80486dx-33) could only receive at a max of 180 baud! I repeat that number 180
baud. If interested, drop me a line.
