There will be a MSDOS FST in System 6.01, but in the meantime...

I wrote several times stuff like 'with the right software you
can read MS-DOS disks on a GS' but I never mentioned the
product, because I feared it would be shareware and did forget
to pay the fee... ;)
But fortunately it is freeware, although, if you send $5 to the
author of the program, he will send you the newest version and
for $10 more even the C source code along!! (I think, I'll take
this one...)

In fact it's 3 shell commands (for ORCA shell, GNO, etc...):

MDIR to look at an MSDOS directory
MCOPY to copy MSDOS files onto a GS/OS writeable disk
MTYPE to look at MSDOS text files

This trilogy needs a SuperDrive connected to a SuperDrive
controller in order to work. It reads 720K and 1.44M disks.

Availability:
- from the Author: Peter Watson (shucks, I forgot to note the
  address, somewhere in Australia...)
- from an A2-Central back issue (September 92)
- probably from GEnie

If there is any question, just ask!

PS: I dont't get paid by Peter, I just like the utilities and use
    them quite often... :)
