If you want macros alone with vt100, you'll have to look into commercail.  Two
shipping products are ANSIterm v2.0 and ProTERM v3.1.  I use ProTERM v3.0
right now, and I love it.  v3.1 suppose to have improved macros among other
things...

As for ANSIterm, it is VERY similar to ProTERM  except ANSIterm can do full
color ANSI emulations, and have no editor limit.  Other wise, no much 
difference between them.

But that's feature wise; ProTERM is very well integrated in my opinion, and
I wouldn't trade it for anything else on any computer.
