Thanks to everyone who responded about upgrading a IIe to a IIgs; you
provided a lot of useful information. But now I have another question.
Where can one get a 4-meg memory card that will fit inside the IIe case?

That is, the card has a square corner that fits a IIgs case okay, but it
will not fit under the IIe cover. I get the impression that few or no
companies make IIgs hardware that will live in the IIe case.
Yes, I know I can leave the cover off the IIe case. Yes, I know I can look
for a used "real" IIgs for sale. But I think I'd prefer the IIe keyboard
to the quasi-chiclet IIgs keyboard, and I don't need a numeric keypad.
Thanks for any information on "fitting" 4-meg (or greater) memory cards.
