    But were are soliciting voluntary *donations*.  As far as I know,
you don't have to pay those back.  I don't think we should be ignoring
this additional source of funds.  Some companies would be glad to help
out given the chance.

    I think that would be illegal in any case.  But I don't think
there's anything wrong with a company setting up their own directory and
keeping stuff like demos, press releases, patches, etc. at the site. 
I'm sure Procyon and DreamWorld would agree here.  ;-)
