Looking for an update on the GS

	I haven't used my GS for a while and since I've been here
at U of M I'm beginning to see the need for a computer again.  And
frankly I can't afford to buy a new computer.  My GS is sitting at
home acting as a word processor for my parents.... but it is mine and
if I can get it up to a decent machine relatively cheap I'll steal
it back from them.  What I'm wondering is.....

1) WHat is available as far as HD goes?!

2) What can I expect to pay for a 9600baud or greater
    modem??

3) How much memory expansion am I going to need to do??
    (currently 1.25)

Some of this may seem like silly questions that could be answered
if I bought a magazine, but quite frankly I don't have the time to read 
through three months or more worth of magazines to catch up.
