Ok, you have your opinion Woz and I have mine and it's not good. If Woz was
the supreme being then he must be the clockmaker that just creates the
universe and then lets it run by itself without any further intervention.
This is how I see Woz.
Woz may be at conventions, he might speak for the Apple II, but he has not
done anything, IMHO, that contains substance. If he was, he would be out
there either designing the next Apple II or joining Bill Heineman on the
Avatar project, or at least something useful.
Shoot, it would be great if the Avatar was supported by more
Apple II luminaries in the likes of Bill Mensch and Woz. They have capital
on the side that could do something meaningful, if not useful.
But, sadly, it's a fractionalized world of reality where we all go our
separate ways. However, this archive internet drive is a great shot of
support, if it succeeds at all in further uniting the Apple II people a
little more.
Oh well, I spoke my peace, because I've been really ticked at Woz doing
so much and being so much a part of the Apple II spirit that it kills me to
see him drop it like it meant nothing to him.
Seems like the Ford revolution that was Woz's dream has mutated into a
lucrative corporate business.
Flame me if you must, but I just had to say something.
