The fan may be a standard muffin fan. If this is the case, a new
fan can be obtained from a number of sources -- Digi-Key as an
example. Call Digi-Key at (800)Digi-Key and ask for a catalog.
Have your friend open up the case and figure out what physical
size the fan is. Since you already know the power requirements,
it will be a simple matter of scanning the catalog for the proper
fan.
