Yes it does! (Assuming AppleWorks 3.0)  However, there is a catch. You
have to buy SuperPatch from Quality Computers. The driver for P1 makes
a printout that looks exactly like a page printed with proportional
fonts on a laser printer.

SuperPatch also has a number of other AppleWorks patches that make it
well worth the price. 

While AppleWorks Companion and SuperPatch have duplicate patches, I'd
getting it in addition for another additional patches that make your
life ever so much more pleasant.
