ACT = Apple Conference Terminal.

It was originally released by Bob Garth as shareware, but when he dropped
the Apple II about 2 years ago, he made it freeware.

Bob used to have a product support area on GEnie, and he wrote ACT so that
it would be possible for 2 people to play Chess and Reversi while in a GEnie
RoundTable (chat) room. Back in the days when the SOurce was still up and
running, it was pretty easy to get the games working while in a Source chat
area.

I never used it as a regular telecomm program, and I don;t really think that
was Bob's intent with ACT. But, I imagine it could be done.
