I don't know how Joe jumped into the METAL thread.  But I would tend to say
Joe jumped in 'cause he wanted to.  My opinion is, if the flame wasn't directed
at you, why get your self involed?

If you see two kids cursing each other out, would you really go up and tell themto stop?  You'll probably get cursed back...  But if it was your kids cursing
with someone else, 99% of you would jump in, and stop you kids.  My point is,
don't tell me what to do.  Flames always happens, and there really isn't any
thingy outsiders can do ( people who're not involved directly in the flames ).

I would recommand taking flaming threads to e-mail, how ever.
