The reason I am considering the socket adaptors is that although I could
probably manage the soldering of new sockets...I don't want to risk it. I
don't want to have to invest in a new ZipGS.  But, I do agree, they are
expensive. Perhaps I'll just go with the .6mil 35ns chips and avoid all the
hassles. I wan't aware that the 35ns chips could handle the 12.5 to 14 MHz
speed.
