GS/OS commands support 16-bit file types and 32-bit aux types directly.
With optionLists, the size restrictions are removed (or at least too large
to think about).  The ProDOS file system only has an 8-bit filetype and a
16-bit auxtype, though it will sometimes store more info in the resource
key block.
