MuGS 2.0 available via FTP
I've uploaded the MuGS 2.0 ShrinkIt archive to sandman.caltech.edu,
pindarus.cs.uiuc.edu and plains.nodak.edu in their respective incoming
or uploads directory. Plains.nodak.edu already had a copy of MuGS 2.0,
but I replaced it with a slightly updated version. The only file that
has changed is the mugs.rc configuration file. It has also been
uploaded separately as "mugs.rc-2.0a" (uncompressed).
I've changed the default pathnames for your incoming mail folder,
saved messages folder, signature file, etc. to emphasize that you must
use a *complete* pathname (i.e., volume name or device prefix, and a
trailing slash for directories). There was also one line which was
missing an opening quote and would have caused problems if you didn't
catch it:
; Pathname of reply folder
set %outgoing "/GSHD/usr/home/outgoing/"
^
|- missing in the original mugs.rc
My address in the %gripe variable has also been updated to
"taob@r-node.hub.org" to be consistent with my signature. The old
"taob@r-node.pci.on.ca" address is still valid, but the new routing is
a bit faster.
MicroEMACS 3.11c (a requirement to run MuGS) is available on both
pindarus and plains with source code and documentation (QuackDuck, go
take a look, eh? ;-)
