shift key modification

The FAQ lists a shift key modification (a wire running from the 
shift key to the game port) in the APPLE ][+ recommended configuration.
Could some kind soul enlighten me with any additional details on how (which
pin number) to attach the wire on the game port?  Is the attachment to
the shift key "obvious?"  Any help would be appreciated.
