Hdinstall problems (Dungeon Master)

I grabbed the hdinstall disks off of comp.binaries.apple2
the other day in hopes that I would finally be able to
put Dungeon Master on my hard disk. So, I copied
the files from my DM disk and the folder on the hdinstall
disk to a folder on my hard disk. Anyway, next I tried to run
DM. And no matter what I did, it would always end in an error
saying "This program must run from slot 5, disk 1 0000". Did
I do something wrong? This happened when I ran START, DM.START,
or DUNGEON.MASTER, and it didn't matter if I booted without
inits or DA's. I am running under system 6.0 instead of 5.0
which the game came on, but someone posted saying it ran fine
under 6.0. So, can anyone help? All advice appreciated.
Steve
