ZDOS ? ? ? ?

I was exploring one of my old disks and dug up a version of DOS
named ZDOS 2.2.  Has anyone heard of it?  It features a free
sectors patch and a command called mode.  Mode replaces init
in the command table.  It apparently creates hidden files.  If
anyone has heard of this (customized???) version of dos, please
e-mail or post to this group.   Thanks
