Yes, Metal and Futurevision are being handled by Joshua Thompson now...
its (metal/fv) no where near being a dead product.

Actually, we now have /two/ Futurenet systems on Internet, with mail
et all. When FutureVision 5.0 is done, all of the futurenet will have
internet capabilities, if the sysop desires it.

I don't think there were many of them. Besides, its not like the Metal/FV
package cost $200 or anywhere near that. For what you get in Metal, you
got it really cheap, and <imho> it does a lot more than Acos/Macos/LLuce
does, for a lot less.

(and now that its free, heck, its a /lot/ less!) :)

If you think about it, with the advent of FV 5.0, if you

1) already have a futurenet site in your local dialing area -or-
2) can find a uucp feed

You can get on the internet for /free/!
