ShadowWrite 1.2 beta testers wanted!

Uff! I finally managed to complete the beta-release of ShadowWrite 1.2. That
was hard work since I wanted to have it done before I go on vacation :)

I uploaded it to c.b.a2 for all of you who want to do some beta-testing or who
just can't wait to see the improvements. Thanx to all beta-testers in advance
but please be sure that you're familiar with all features of version 1.1.
There's NO documentaion included, only some update notes.


Now what's new?

- Yes, it's still Freeware!!!

- Show/Hide Ruler menu item: The on-screen ruler is the main improvement to
ShadowWrite.

- MultiGet Open dialog: If you choose Open from the File menu, you're now able
to select more than just one file. That's a time saver indeed!

- Fast Find/Replace: The Find/Replace has been dramatically speeded up. A
Replace All used to take about 1.5 minutes (and still takes so long in other
text editors that use the TE tools) in a text where v1.2 takes only about 15
seconds (!)

- New Actions in Modify Text: I added two new action codes to the unique Modify
Text feature. ROT13 En-/Decrypt is a simple decryption technique. Change Case
(UPPERCASE, lowercase, Title) should be known to you.

- Word Count in Text Info: This feature is dedicated to all students who have
to write essays with a required amount of words. :)

- Flexible Set Ruler function: Set Ruler has become more flexible in order to
cooperate with the on-screen ruler.

- Faster text scrolling

- Grow box change: Resizing the window by using the grow box no more resizes
the right margin unless you press the Command key at the same time. You can
reverse this behaviour by setting the Auto Resize Ruler preference.

- Save as Source: The text can now be saved as Apple IIGS Source File.

- Preferences in Resources:
Preferences: Show Invisible, Display Menu Icon, Auto I-Beam Cursor, Auto Resize
Ruler, Default Window Size (320 and 640)
Default Text: This text will be used when you open a new document.
Size Pop-Up: Add or remove sizes as you desire.

- Inter-Process Communication: ShadowWrite now accepts some requests, powerful
enough that application can use SW as an internal word processor.

- and more... yes, it's propably not as stable as v1.1... :)
