It really never got started until Lance finally saw a need for it as well
as SysOps willing to buy the program. What good does it do to write
anything if there is no interest. He sure has not become rich over
GBBS and with the amount of pirate systems out there that sure did
not make him to happy. As Lance said a while back LLUCE ws started
to be used for educational purposes, he has since gone ahead and
made one that will be for the everyday SysOp. The program is being
tested and as of this time the release date could be in a couple
of weeks or a bit longer. Wabbit who many of you know for his GBBS
games is one of the testers is running it now. The Foundation is
up on it as well with the exception of the Ogg-Net part of it
since there still is a problem with the message file for networking.
I'm sure this will be worked out shortly. I have not had a lot of
time to talk to Lance or any of the other testers because of work.
But I do know it is comming along from just the comments on the
net. I'm sure Metal is a fine program just as are many other BBS 
programs. It just depends on what the SysOp wants.
