        I want to start doing some GS programming and could use some advice.
What languages/compilers are available for the GS?  (C, Assembly, Pascal,
BASIC, etc)  Which compiler is the best for its language?
 
        What programming tool/aids are available and recommended?  What books/
refrences are worthwile?
 
        I'd like to start by programming GS/OS v6.0 NDAs, CDEVs, and INITs, and
was wondering if there are any skeleton programs out there that might be of
some help to a novice GS programmer.  Also, how can I find out what I have to
do to allow my programs to execute properly under System 6?
 
        Any and all help greatly appreciated.  Please e-mail responses.
