Joe, my system has a unix interface to Internet. To save mail to a file:

   s < #'s of message> <filename>

So to save messages 1-30 as "joe"

 s 1-30 joe


  BTW, I enjoy your work in Incider. Have you looked at the Apple Echo
on FidoNet? We don't have a file network, but there is a exchange of
information and chatter.
