To begin with, a simple programming language that would look
something like this:

 click 145 150 <- click at 145,150 (global)

click @40 @20 <- click at 40,20 relative to window origin

moveto 120 100 <- move to absolute coordinates
btndown <- hold down mouse button
 moveto +50 +50 <- relative coordinates
 btnup <- release mouse button

 drag 120 100 +50 +50 <- same as above four lines
 drag 120 100 170 150 <- same thing again
 drag 10 10 50 50 A <- drag with the Apple key down

push Cancel <- click the "Cancel" button in a dialog

domenu File:Open... <- select the Open... menu item
domenu @:File Manager <- open this NDA
domenu @:\003 <- pick the third menu item in the Apple menu
domenu Windows:\-002 <- pick the 2nd last item in the Windows menu
domenu #14 <- pick menu item with ID = 14

Then you can write script files and bind them to certain keys and
have them execute when pressed. Heck, bind them to mouse actions so
that Apple-Control clicking will pop up the Control Panel, etc. Of
course, you need keyboard control too, like all other macro packages.

It will probably end up a lot like HyperTalk, so take a look at HCGS
if you haven't already. A HyperTalk-like language would be very easy to
script, but still provides moderately advanced features such as variable
declarations, loops, conditionals, branching, etc.

Anyway, I'll have *lots* of ideas when you get started (trust me).
Naturally, I will be more than happy to beta-test. ;-)
