information on bric-a-brac

Would someone enlighten me on HOW to extract the files from bric-a-brac
which are in the .hqx format.  As I understand it, Gscii+ 2.3.1 should unBinHex
the file, and GSshrinkit 1.1 should handle the StuffIt! archive.  For 
some reason, GSshrinkit recognizes the archive and cannot extract it.  

Are the files stuffed using a newer version than 1.5.1?  Are there other
ways of doing this that people have tried?
