A propos Mandelbrot: I've also written a strip-to-the-bone Mandelbrot
program. It is said to be the fastest ever written for the II. (Aetsch,
I have never looked at another one :)

Maybe one of the Symbolix guys can upload it, it's freeware...

Lowest resolution takes only 2,5 minutes (320x200, 16 colors). 16 bit
fixed (OKAY OKAY, that's bad I KNOW I KNOW). Yoiu can also select 32 bit
and 64 bit. Also included is a 3D module.
