Jonathan,
I have the Apple CD+ on one GS (it works fine, and I (personal pref) like the little multi-colored apple) I have a NEC CD-35 on the other GS ant IT worksfine too - neither machine has a RAMfast (Though it is probably your best bet to get one ) Both drives are SCSI and work fine with the Apple Hi Speed SCSI
card (the NEC makes use of a driver from Trantor).
So, withough stating flatly, I would suggegst that ANY CSCI CD-ROM drive should work - particularly with a Ramfast.
