Humor a new user and answer these Apple //e card questions.

Hi, All.  Before I pour out my problems, here's the disclaimers:

1)  I don't know if these are the correct newsgroups or not - I just
picked the ones that looked likely.

2)  I know next to nothing about Apple //e's and not much more about Macs.

3)  I'm posting this for another person (my mom), so if I sound like I
don't know what I'm talking about, it's because I probably don't.  :-)

That said, here's the problem:  My mom just got an LCII with an Apple
//e card so she can run her school's Apple //e stuff (Sticky Bear, Apple
Writer, etc.) at home.  For now, she's just been bringing home a 5.25
drive (unhelpfully labelled "Apple 5.25 drive" on the bottom) from school 
to plug into a 19-pin port on the Y-cable which came and plugs into the //e
card.

Now she's trying to buy a (used) 5.25 drive so she doesn't have to bring
one home every night, but she (and I) don't know what to look for.  Here's
the questions:

1)  Her principle told her that the drive she's been using is a "Unidisk"
(although it doesn't say that anywhere on the drive - just says "Apple
5.25 drive")  Is that correct - are "Apple 5.25 drive" and "Unidisk"
referring to the same thing?

2)  Her principle also told her NOT to get a Disk ][.  Is that also good
advice?

3)  Someone offered to sell us a 5.25 drive which had the exact same model
number on the bottom as the drive she's been bringing home - only problem
was, our drive has a 19-pin plug and his had a 37 (or 32?) pin plug - what
kind of disk drive is THAT?  (and is there a way to make it work with our
19-pin port on the Y-cable?

4)  If I post a message in a misc.forsale area, what should I ask for?  A
5.25 Unidisk?  An Apple 5.25 drive for a //e?
