The Apple II 3.5" controller (forget real name) controls the UniDisk 3.5",
AppleDisk 3.5", and SuperDrive/FDHD.
 
It does not, as far as I know, control the old 400K and 800K Mac drives with no
eject button.
 
I don't know about the new Powerbook drives.
 
The 5.25" drives will still work with the built in connector.
If you put the controller in slot 5, you lose :RAM5.
