Do you know the story of the word ASSUME? You can split it into three words:
ASS-U-ME. When you ASSUME, you make an ASS out of U and ME.
Your mistake above was assuming that GEnie would use the name genie.com. It
does not. To send mail to a GEnie user(*), send mail to
username@genie.geis.com.
(*) - Only GEnie users who signed up for the Internet mail gateway can
receive mail. GEnie users (I believe) pay a flat monthly fee plus an
additional charge based on mail volume. It's not cheap.
