Well since HyperStudio has been out for a much longer time than
HyperCard, I'd say HyperStudio is better. It is well established and
continually supported. As for HyperCard, even the Macintosh version isn't
being pushed anymore. Both packages are excellent authoring programs in
any case, but HS can run on a stock GS, where as HC requires a hard
drive, or network, and at least 1.5 megs of RAM, with 2 megs prefered.

You don't need both programs for a 'full' multi-media authoring
experience, either one will do (but I admit to having both packages).

To be perfectly honest, I don't know. Even though I've bought them, I
haven't put the time into learning how to use them.

Currently only HyperCard stacks can be moved between the GS and Mac with
HyperMover. HyperMover is available at your local friendly Apple dealer
or user group. I believe it is on a Tech support CD of some sort.
As for HyperStudio, I've heard that there is going to be a Macintosh
version coming out soon. If that is the case, I would not be surprised if
you can convert GS HS stacks to Mac vise versa.
